Isolato

Isolato is the Italian-language edition of the novel The Isolate, published under the byline Apollo Camembert by Giuliano Ladolfi Editore. The English original came from Black Scat Books in 2023; this is the work carried into Italian.

The title is the whole posture of the book. An isolato is one who stands apart, and the novel follows a man so worn down by modern life that he withdraws into hidden stealth housing to cut off all contact with the outside world.

The press has not annotated the Italian edition page by page, and the byline on the cover is the byline. Copies offered here come from the author's own collection.
