Grace Murray is a writer and editor based in Western Massachusetts. At the time her JEF title appeared she was a student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she majored in English and briefly studied Scandinavian literature; she has lived in Amherst, once renting an apartment across from the historic Emily Dickinson house.
Her single JEF title is Black Scat Books: A Bibliography 2012-2018 (JEF Books, 2018). It is not a work of fiction but an illustrated reference work: a catalogue of the first six years of output from Black Scat Books, the San Francisco Bay Area press run by Norman Conquest, which in that span issued more than a hundred titles in 'Pataphysics, Dada, Oulipian writing, asemic writing, visual poetry, satire, and absurdist fiction. JEF Books published the bibliography under its Depth Charge imprint; it is now sold out.
Murray's editorial work continued in the same orbit. In 2021 she edited and contributed to The New Urge Reader 4: Erotic Fiction by New Women Writers (New Urge Editions), the fourth volume in an anthology series of women's erotic fiction, for which she also wrote the introduction.
